2017 Sierra Madre Vineyard Chardonnay

This cool climate wine shows melon, citrus and hints of oak on the nose. On the palate, the wine opens with a lovely body of tropical notes giving way to a bright, savory finish. This wine has bright acidity retained from the mild growing region. A partial malolactic fermentation retains some green apple acidity notes while not making the wine too buttery. Enjoy this wine by itself or with poultry dishes with a cream based sauce.
