Theresa-Noelle Vineyard Proprietors Reserve Pinot noir comes from our estate vineyard located on the western end on the Santa Rita Hills AVA. Planted to four clones of Pinot noir, clone 828, clone 115, clone 667 and clone Pomard, the vineyard shows distinct flavor profiles attributed to Dijon clones. In the fall, the grapes are hand harvested and selected for the Proprietors program with utmost quality in mind.
Even with an early harvest and mild winter, this Pinot Noir has an intense and profound ruby color. A gorgeous nose of baking spices and plums, graced by a touch of dried flowers and incense. Its ample acids lend firmness and length. Great homogeneous structure on a base of beautiful oak, the 2016 Fiddlestix has a persistent finish, and is complex with graceful tannins.
The latest incarnation of Summerland's flagship Rhone-style blend benefits from the addition of Petite Sirah. Trio is inspired by the rustic, expressive and complex wines from the Southern Rhone of France.
As a varietal recognized in the Paso Robles growing region for its distinctive qualities. Lush, fresh and ripe with abundant notes of black pepper, red currant fruit and a menthol aroma. With ample tannins and long-lasting supple flavors, this balanced wine expresses notes of dried red cherries. The oak gives way to vanilla and is deep and inviting with an easy grace and a friendly entry. This is the perfect wine for a backyard barbecue.
Don't worry about how to pronounce it, this Viognier needs little translation in the palette. Notes of apricot blossoms, elderflower, and sweet alfalfa grasses take the reigns in this classic poultry-pairing wine. Bon appétit!
This wine offers a lovely elevated perfumed nose of bright cherry and strawberry, with a hint of raspberry, rose petals, mushroom & sage. Mouthwatering favors of cherries, strawberry, root beer and brown butter sage give way to the balanced acidity, long finish and velvety mouthfeel. Pairs well with pizza, charcuterie and pasta.
Located in the heart of the Santa Rita Hills appellation, Fiddlestix Vineyard encompasses some of the finest cool climate Pinot Noir grown on the Central Coast. A gorgeous nose of baking spices and plums, graced by a touch of dried flowers and incense. Its ample acids lend firmness and length. Great homogeneous structure on a base of beautiful oak, the 2015 Fiddlestix has a finish, which is persistent and complex with graceful tannins. Aging took place in 100% François Frères cooperage from a variety of forests for 11 months in 1/2 new oak.
Our Pinot Noir shows lovely depth, length & style. Namely notes of dried cherries, rose petals and white pepper on the nose. On the palate, it is a marriage of distinct flavors such as bright raspberry, cherry & dried oregano. This Pinot Noir would pair perfectly with pork tenderloin in a balsamic fig sauce.
