On the nose we have ripe yellow peach and apricot, nice fresh mountain breeze, clean and round taste, creamy vanilla, toffy caramel and elegant balance of acid and minerality and well-integrated oak.
Golden Delicious apples, minerality and acidity and tart fruit notes make for a Chardonnay encompassing the Burgundian style of winemaking. Crisp and delicate but with a smooth and creamy, butterscotch finish, this wine has the body of an oaked Chardonnay without the bold oak flavors.
Our Pinot Grigio is a lovely expression of an Italian varietal well at home in the West. An aromatic bouquet of lemon zest, Mandarin Oranges, and melon on the nose makes this wine very enjoyable. The palate is creamy with pear and notes of wet stone, with lingering green apple. A versatile pairing with food, it would do well with a delicate dish of fried seafood, salads and soft cheeses.
This cool climate wine shows melon, citrus and hints of oak on the nose. On the palate, the wine opens with a lovely body of tropical notes giving way to a bright savory finish. The wine has bright acidity retained from the mild growing region. A partial malolactic fermentation retains some green apple acidity notes while not making the wine too buttery. Enjoy this wine by itself or poultry dishes with a cream based sauce.
This Pinot Noir has a well-balanced acidity, bold flavors, and a long finish. With a rich bouquet of raspberry, cherry, and cinnamon this wine is very lively and ready to drink. On the palate you will find a delicate, medium-bodied structure with notes of berries followed by hints of clove and licorice.
Earthy, wild blackberry and dark fruits, cassis, dark cherry, dark plumb, well-integrated oak, nice balanced tannins, creamy vanilla and a hint of white pepper.
Our 2017 Malbec was hand picked and hand harvested from the 3 acres of land in San Luis Obispo County's Encel Vineyard. Displaying a core of generous dark berry and plum fruit framed with hints of black pepper reflecting the 10 months it spent in French oak barrels.
The 2017 vintage is an incredibly expressive Pinot with bright raspberry and cherry fruit, touches of pepper, nutmeg and cocoa, vibrant acidity and a long, smooth finish with hints of vanilla oak that will leave you wanting another glass. Try this wonderful Pinot Noir with rosemary seasoned chicken or salmon sushi.
Don't worry about how to pronounce it, this Viognier needs little translation in the palette. Notes of apricot blossoms, elderflower, and sweet alfalfa grasses take the reigns in this classic poultry-pairing wine. Bon appétit!
